Privacy notice
Printlify is a private, single-shop tool that automates an Etsy print-on-demand shop. It is operated by Wentzel Investments LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”). This notice explains what Printlify does with the data of the shop’s buyers and of the people who operate the shop.
If you bought from the shop on Etsy
- When you place an order, Etsy notifies Printlify. We keep the Etsy order (receipt) number and, when Etsy shares it, your email address.
- We use your email address to send a post-purchase message about your order and to answer you. These emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service. Message text, including the post-purchase message, may be drafted with Anthropic’s Claude models, reached through Cloudflare AI Gateway; we send the model the shop and message context, not your email address.
- If you message the shop on Etsy, the shop team may copy your message, and whatever it contains, such as your name, into Printlify to answer it.
- Payment is handled by Etsy, and printing and shipping by Printify. Printlify does not store your shipping address or your payment card details.
If you operate the shop
- You sign in with Google or an emailed sign-in link. We keep your name, email address and profile image, and a first-party session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- We keep an append-only audit log of actions taken in the app, such as approvals, sent messages and credential use. When archiving is enabled, a copy is kept in Amazon Web Services.
- If you turn on notifications, we keep your browser’s push subscription so we can alert you to new orders.
Where data is stored
Printlify runs on Cloudflare. Order, message, account and audit records are kept in a Cloudflare D1 database. Product artwork and mockups are kept in Cloudflare R2 storage; they hold no buyer data.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare: hosting, D1 and R2 storage, AI Gateway.
- Amazon Web Services: email delivery (SES) and audit-log archive.
- Etsy: the marketplace where orders are placed.
- Printify: printing and shipping of orders.
- Anthropic: drafting replies and scoring product ideas.
- Google: operator sign-in.
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry): error monitoring, which receives technical error context.
Cookies and tracking
The only cookie Printlify sets is the first-party session cookie for signed-in operators. It loads no advertising, analytics or session-replay scripts. We do not sell or rent personal data.
How long we keep data and your choices
We keep data while the shop operates and as needed for legal and security reasons. There is no automated deletion schedule today. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email contact@wentzel.ai. Audit-log entries are append-only and are kept even when other records are deleted.
Changes
If what Printlify collects changes, we will update this page. See also the terms of use.
